The importance in society of mastering several languages is spreading rapidly around the world. There are more and more doors open to us by mastering a second language and, of course, a third language. There are examples of countries where children are able to master several languages from a very young age in a natural way and we feel that we should follow their example. What should we do so that our children master more than one language?

What is ittrilingualism for children and how can we enhance it from a young age? A trilingual person is one who is able to speak 3 different languages naturally and effortlessly.

In fact, as in everything related to oral language, the easiest way to acquire this skill is very young, in fact the sooner the easier it is. In learning languages at a young age, the best known method is immersion in the language in a natural way, this must be supported with different techniques such as bits of intelligence and musical and visual supports.

When we are born we do not have any knowledge about the world that surrounds us, it is from the second number one that our brain, practically blank, begins to collect all the information that comes from around it. Depending on the information that we are capturing, the brain begins to make its connections to be able to face the problems or situations with which it will have to encounter the rest of its life.

If a child from birth only hears one language around him, his brain will prepare and recognize that language as the only one that exists to communicate, thus organizing the brain in a way that makes it as easy as possible for it to communicate with its environment.

The difference arises when the child naturally hears two or more languages around him, for example, when his father speaks to him in Spanish, mother speaks to him in English and in the nursery they speak to him in French. The information that this brain is receiving is totally different from that of the monolingual child, the first thing the brain appreciates is that the normal thing is that depending on which place or person it will have to communicate in a different way, with which once it begins The process of connecting and organizing the brain, these connections and the storage of information will be done in a totally different way, thus facilitating faster access to different languages as well as deciphering messages depending on the language they use.

Trilingual education is all advantages for children, the ability to master 3 languages in a natural way:

- It can open up endless job opportunities in the future.

- Increases self-confidence.

- Strengthens social relationships.

- Increases the child's interest in other cultures and knowledge.

- Make the children have a more open mind.

Another of the great advantages of trilingual children is that having the brain prepared to assimilate more than one language this favors when it comes to learning a fourth and a fifth language, since it will be easier for the brain to organize it.

In some cases we hear that it is harmful since trilingual children take longer to speak than children who only learn one language. It is true that there is a certain delay, fully explainable and logical, the connections you are making are much more complicated when we learn several languages at the same time, in addition to learning some words two or three times in different languages. If it takes longer to complete the phase, it is because from then on your abilities will be much higher and not only when it comes to speaking languages.
